August 20th Ride - Cle Elum

Hey Everybody,

Saturday we're going across the mountains to Cle Elum!

The ride will take us from Cle Elum along Salmon La Sac road, a two lane road, to Cle Elum Lake all while riding along the Cle Elum River. For this ride we will probably clock in around 30 miles.

There will be some camp grounds along the way, at which there should be a few restrooms. I highly recommend bringing your water bottles. The road has views of surrounding mountains, rivers and lakes.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • I would like to have the pace be at 12mph, which I think that most of you were able to keep easily. If this isn't possible, consider the safety of yourself and others in the group.
  • We will be riding on roads that will have cars driving on them. Traffic will be very light, but still be aware that this is an inherent risk.
  • Transportation to/from are the responsibility of each individual rider. If you are willing to take more than yourself in your car, then please email me so we can carpool. =)

I created a Map My Ride page for the ride:
